Kodak DC20 [digital camera] |

| The 'baby' of Kodak's family of digital cameras, the DC20 was easy to use but limited in storage capacity at only 8 high resolution images, 16 low resolution. The software was simple to install and use, and the images were more than adequate
for use on web pages, identity cards or laser-printed leaflets. Controls are limited to three buttons: power, delete and shutter. An affordable, simple to use, good entry-level camera - others in the wide Kodak range offer greater resolution and capacity
, up to and including full professional-level specifications. |

Casio QV100 [digital camera] |

| Review Date: |
January 1997 |
| Reasonable-sized memory makes the QV-100 very practical as a holiday or field-trip camera, and the easy camera-to-TV link makes it ideal for visual presentations. The camera can store 64 high resolution pictures or 192 low resolution picture
s (or a mix of the two). The integral 1.8" TFT LCD screen replaces the viewfinder and enables easy review and deletion of images where needed. Some exposure control is provided, along with a macro option allowing for close-up pictures. The lens can be rot
ated through 270 degrees from the body, enabling pictures from awkward angles - the ceiling of the Sistine chapel without neck-ache perhaps?
